The Club is Back for Another
Year of Scientific Adventure!
What a mess! What a wonderful mess! Sometimes science can lead to spills and a need for paper towels. Our October club meeting had us running to clean up. We explored density with a cartesian diver experiment, made raisins dance, watched blueberries sink and float, and drank a bunch of bubbly water.
Dr. Burton, his graduate students, Mrs. Hammer, and Ms. Sidell joined thirty very excited 4th and 5th graders for this year's first Emory Science Club meeting in September. We solved a mystery using a forensic tool- chromotography! We had to determine which black pen was used to write a ransom note. Have no fear, we are great detectives!
